Pirates sign several key players to help bolster their XEFL championship run! The Harco Pirates have been recruiting well in the past few months and this has lead to several key acquisitions with playoff experience. Look to these new players to be a force in the upcoming 2015 XEFL season! Welcome LB Steffon Brown, DL Peter Lang , DB Randall Byrd, and WR/KR Brandon Myers, and SS Gary Hopkins.
The Harford County Pirates announced their home field for the 2015 season would be Utz Field at Patterson Park in Baltimore City. The state of the art turf stadium seats 1,500 fans comfortably! K Travis Rawl's late 4th Qtr Field Goal lifted the Pirates to a 9-7 win over the Baltimore Broncos in their first game in team history. RB Tre Reid did the heavy lifting with 125 yards on 14 carries, adding 22 yards on 2 receptions.
Game was cancelled due to the city closing the field for inclement weather.
The only Legacy score came on a KR for a TD. The Pirates Defense held tough, but the Offense had 5 Turnovers.
